Sweet and Sparkly treat for Valentine's Day

13 February 2013

It's Valentine's Day tomorrow and what better way to celebrate it with your loved ones or with yourself than starting the day right with a sweet and glittery treat: hot chocolate float recommended to be mixed with a stirrer accentuated with a sparkly heart!

SPARKLY HEART STIRRER
Get a portion of your tape, fold it in half and trace half a heart on the folded part.
Cut along the lines then open up the tape. Get your popsicle stick and stick the heart cut-out near one of the ends of the popsicle stick.
Fill that in with glue and and wipe of the excess.
Get your glitter and sprinkle that on the heart cut-out. Tap of the excess. Try lifting the tape a bit to see if you've created a heart with glitters on it already. Then set that aside for a while to let it dry then set the glitter with a small amount of glue.

HOT CHOCOLATE FLOAT
Whenever I need a hot chocolate fix, I grab a sachet of this yummy mint Swiss Miss.
Once you have your cup of hot chocolate, put a good amount of vanilla ice cream in it. You can opt to sprinkle some cinnamon powder on it for a yummier scent-- I always have cinnamon powder at home and at work because I love adding cinnamon in my hot chocolate and coffee.
Add some sweet (and yummy) heart sprinkles
Then add your sparkly heart stirrer.
ENJOY!
